Which platform fits your group?

Edify is likely the better fit if:

  • You run several sites in the UK and want each morning's picture of every site in one place.
  • You want to ask questions in plain English instead of building reports.
  • You want alerts for the things you care about, like waste above its usual level, without checking every dashboard.
  • You run a central kitchen and need detailed production planning: runs, benches, hot production and hub-and-spoke cut-offs.
  • Your POS is GoodTill, SumUp or EposNow.

Supy may be the better fit if:

  • You operate across several countries, or your POS or accounting system is only on Supy's integration list.
  • Your teams need native iOS and Android apps.
  • You want to stream data into Databricks or plug straight into Power BI or Tableau.
  • You want 14-day, item-level AI sales forecasts.

How Edify is different

"14 sites. You can't be everywhere." → We are.
  • Answers, not just dashboards. Ask Edify answers questions across every site in plain English, e.g. "Which site's gross margin dropped most this week?"
  • Issues come to you. Custom AI Insights watch the things you choose and alert you on your dashboard and by email.
  • Built for the multi-site layer. You get daily sales, gross margin, operational profit, cost of sales, ATV, discounts and waste for every site, compared side by side, down to menu profitability by item.
  • Production that matches how central kitchens really work. Edify covers production runs, bench planning, hot production, product control reports and hub-and-spoke planning with cut-offs.
  • Human-First AI. Edify suggests orders from sales history, stock on hand and par levels, and your general manager makes the final call.

Edify is used by hospitality groups including Pret A Manger, Dunkin', Watch House, Soho Coffee, Yolk and Urban Baristas.

Why multi-site operators run on Edify

One real-time view, every location

Sales, gross margin, operational profit, cost of sales, ATV, discounts and waste for every site, compared side by side. Edify integrates with Square, Toast and Lightspeed, among others, and brings every site's sales into one real-time dashboard.

Predictive ordering, not guesswork

Edify reads your sales history, stock on hand and par levels and places the next order for you, and your general manager makes the final call. Cut-offs, minimum order values and recurring orders are built in.

Cut waste, overprep and stockouts

Production runs, bench planning, hot production slots and hub-and-spoke planning with cut-offs keep prep matched to real demand, from each site's bench to a central kitchen dispatching to every location.

Automate the admin nobody wants

Three-way invoice matching reads emailed invoices and matches lines to the purchase order and goods received note, flagging variances for approval. Credit requests are raised at delivery and sent to the supplier.

Switching from Supy to Edify

Most of what you need to move is data you already have:

  • Suppliers and products. Export them from your current system and import them into Edify by CSV.
  • Recipes. Rebuild them in Edify from your products and sub-recipes. Edify then costs them automatically.
  • POS. Connect your POS to Edify and confirm the item matches Edify suggests.
  • Stock. Set up storage areas and complete your first stocktake. Live stock starts from there.
  • Accounting. Connect Xero to push purchase orders and sync approved invoices.
